let them eat cupcakes!

one thing we've agreed on is cupcakes for our reception dessert. yum. over the weekend, along with david's parents, we visited a couple of bakeries to taste test. even though i'm not a sweets person, this has definitely been one of the most fun planning moments so far. all in a hard day's work for our guests. wink. hopefully we'll at least pick the right flavors for you! {ps-d's for red velvet, r's for carrot. we'll see what happens!}

after two months of seeing some pretty amazing reception venues all around town, we've finally picked a place that seems like a lovely fit with our needs...the Atlanta Marriott Marquis (details here). we are so happy that this detail has been finalized, because now the really important planning can finally begin. like cake tastings!
