happy birthday mom!

dave here. the date is getting closer. this past weekend my folks got together with radhi's folks and went through some details of the ceremony and watched a video of siva's (radhi's brother) wedding. this type of wedding ceremony is new to me and my family, so we are learning as much as we can before the big day. we hoped to get pictures of the day to share... i even brought my camera, and dr. mohan had his laying out too. but neither of us snapped any. oops.

radhi's mom cooked an amazing lunch for us. this is one perk of marrying into an indian family that i can definitely get used to. :)

speaking of moms, today is my mom's birthday. happy birthday when you read this mom. i love you. we'll be dining out somewhere nice tonight. i'm looking forward to it.

bangles are the perfect display of all the vibrant and beautiful color that we are lucky to be surrounded by throughout the planning. plus, it was just so nice of my parents to travel all around india to find the brand that is my namesake. wink, wink!

*onto more important matters. i can't go without saying a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to arjun, the coolest and most loveable nine-year-old i know...especially when he's holding a cute, little bunny rabbit!

hi. it's been a while since i posted, so i thought i would share some recent pictures dr. mohan was kind enough to take. we decided to take some shots around our favorite neighborhood hang out, piedmont park. i think they turned out great, and we had a lot of fun during it. of course it was radhi's idea to use the cute little props. she is a genius. i love her. :)

we heart our parents.

this weekend we had a lovely lunch with our even lovelier parents. while i intended to document more of our lunch, all i have is these pictures. but aren't we a good looking bunch!?! cheers to our parents!
