the holidays have come and gone in a glorious daze. we celebrated christmas with d's family on the 23rd and with mine on the 24th. both celebrations were warm and cozy and everything the holidays should be- especially the yummy food part! we never take family or friends for granted, but this holiday season we felt especially happy, lucky and grateful to have such amazing people surround us everyday.

i can't believe it's already the new year. 12 months came and went, and i'm not even sure what happened! i'm not into resolutions, but i do always hope to live with a little more intention each year. with that in mind, here are just a few things to look forward to in 2012:

- more blog posts
- i've joined the picture a day movement this year. i'll be updating my flickr stream as well as posting a recap here every week. i'm crossing my fingers that my desire to chronicle the year will conquer my usual tendency to abandon a project! :/ (motivation- see above)
- more delicious meals
- more music genius by d
- more homemade crafts by r
- and lots, lots, lots more exciting things....
